Payment Policy and Booking Guidelines

To ensure clarity, efficiency, and fairness in our processes, Kay Laurice has established the following payment policies and booking guidelines. These policies are designed to protect our time and resources while providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

1. Payment Policy

1.1 Full Payment Requirement

  • All orders and services under $1,000 must be paid in full before services are rendered.

  • Orders and services exceeding $1,000 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order or booking, with the remaining balance due at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled service or order completion date.

1.2 Non-Refundable Deposits

​

  • A 50% deposit secures your quote for 30 days and guarantees the current pricing and a spot in our production schedule.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

1.3 Quote Validity

​

For Orders-

  • Quotes are valid for 7 business days unless a 50% deposit is paid within 24 hours of from the date they are issued. After the validity period, prices are subject to change.

  • Requests for an updated quote after the 7-business-day window will incur a re-quote fee of $25.

For Services-

​

  • All quotes are valid for 7 business days from the date they are issued.

  • If you need more time, you can secure your quote for 30 days by paying a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted amount within 24 hours from the date they are issued.

  • Please note that prices are subject to change and may vary after the 7-day window without a secured deposit.

1.4 Upfront Payment for Production

For Orders-

  • Production of any design, printing, or additional services will only begin once the required payment has been received.

  • Failure to provide payment by the agreed deadline may result in rescheduling, cancellation, or forfeiture of your order.

If a specific payment date is agreed upon, it is expected to be honored. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in:

- Automatic cancellation of your booking.
- Forfeiture of your deposit.

- Rebooking being subject to a new deposit and availability.

1.5 Additional Charges

Rush orders, customizations, or changes to approved designs may incur additional charges. These fees must be paid upfront before work continues.

2. Booking Guidelines

2.1 Inquiries and Quotes​

​

  • All inquiries must be submitted via our official inquiry form or email. This ensures we gather the necessary details to assist you efficiently.

  • Repeated quote requests without commitment will require a $25 non-refundable deposit before additional quotes are issued. This deposit will be credited toward your order if you proceed.

2.2 No Work Without Payment

​

We operate on a strict "no work without payment" policy. Bookings are not confirmed, and production will not begin until payment is received.

2.3 Missed Payment Deadlines

​

If payment is not received by the agreed-upon deadline, your order will be placed on hold or canceled. Reinstating a canceled order or invoice may require an additional fee of $50 and is subject to availability.

3. Repeat Offender Clause

3.1 Non-Paying Customers

​

Clients who have previously failed to follow through with payments or who have delayed payments multiple times will be required to pay 100% upfront for all future orders. No deposits will be accepted.

3.2 Excessive Quote Requests

​

Clients who repeatedly request quotes without committing to an order will be required to pay a $25 non-refundable deposit before any additional quotes are provided. This deposit will be applied to the final order if the client proceeds.

3.3 Refusal of Service

​

Kay Laurice reserves the right to decline future services to clients who consistently fail to adhere to our payment and booking policies.

4. Additional Terms

4.1 Communication and Response Times

​

  • Our business hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm EST, and we strive to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours.

  • Please direct all communications through email for efficient service.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

​

  • Orders or service is canceled by the client after payment is made will NOT BE REFUNDED unless we cannot fulfil the order or service.

  • Refunds are not provided for work already completed or expenses incurred.

4.3 Turnaround Time

​

  • Turnaround times vary by project type and will be communicated during the order or booking process. Delays caused by late payments, incomplete information, or failure to approve proofs will extend production timelines.

  • After two follow ups and no response, we will cancel your order with no option of a refund.

5. Extensions or Delays

If unexpected circumstances arise that impact your ability to pay on the agreed date:

  • Contact us immediately to discuss options.

  • Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, but services will not proceed until the balance is paid in full.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 3 days in advance.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require a rescheduling fee or new deposit.

7. Commitment to Professionalism

We are committed to delivering high-quality service and maintaining a professional relationship. We ask that all clients adhere to these guidelines to ensure a positive and seamless experience for everyone involved.
